Volunteer!

The Holliston Youth Lacrosse Program is run entirely by volunteers. We need people like you to help grow and improve the program. There are many jobs that need doing; many of them require absolutely no lacrosse knowledge or skills. Please let a board member know if you’d like to volunteer for one.

Open Board Positions - 2011 Season:
Treasurer - We are currently in need of  new treasurer. if you are interested , let the Drew Schneeloch know.

Boys Scheduling - We currently need a boys scheduling board member. If you are interested, let Greg Stebbins know.

Volunteer Positions:
Fundraising Committee: The program needs people to help organize fundraisers be it raffle tickets, social etc. We need three parents to sit on a fundrainsing committee for the program. One boys parent, One Girls parent, and One U9 Parent. If you are interested, contact Tracy Abucewitz for details.

Assistant Coaches: All teams need assistant coaches. Lacrosse knowledge is helpful but not absolutely necessary – we’re willing to train! Being an assistant coach is a great way to get involved with your child. Practices are twice a week, in the evenings, at the High School. Games are on Sunday afternoons. See your childs head coach for details.

U9 Coaches: The U9 Program (instructional) started in 2007 with great success. Because the kids range in age from K through 2nd grade, they need a lot of attention and several parent coaches are needed for each team. Lacrosse knowledge is helpful but not necessary. We are just teaching the basics that parents can pick up with no trouble. If your are interested contact the Jim Chuslo for details.

Team Parent: The team parent acts as liaison between the coach/program administrators and the other parents. You could help with fundraising, distribute jerseys, etc. See your head coach for details.

Spirit Wear Sales: We need parents who are willing to help with spirit wear slaes at all home games. See Jane Gilfoy if you are interested.

Game Day Time Timer/Scorer: We need a parent to handle the time clock and scoring. See your head coach for details.
